This is most directly achieved through practice-based training with skill-based learning outcomes. A programme that is largely practice-based ensures that learning will automatically be contextualised. The programme is designed to suit professionals in both forensic and non-forensic settings.
The second element of the KUF framework is the undergraduate framework and is made up of nine modules. All nine modules can be taken as stand alone modules or alternatively as a full degree programme, which on completion would lead to a BSc in Working with Personality Disorder: Developing understanding and effectiveness.
The nine modules are:

Challenges of personality disorder: an interpersonal perspective
Personality disorder: across multi-agency contexts
Working positively with personality disorder: building lives, challenging stigma
Responding to issues of complexity and risk
Responding effectively: making sense of reactions and relationships
Facilitating positive changes: working with people and contexts
Intervening effectively; management treatment and support
Effective teamwork, supervision and models for service delivery: developing context sensitive approaches
The overall aim of the programme is to help improve the quality of service user experience, by developing practitioner attitudes, skills and behaviours. The programme aims to do this by:
